ACECR is a non-government public foundation, established in 1980.

Sharif University Branch of ACECR comprises 4 research groups and 8 specialized service centers in various technical and engineering fields. Conducting research and providing technical services to several industrial sectors, namely petroleum, gas and petrochemical industries, transportation, automobile and vehicles, communications and electronics. Also this branch is active in education field, offering both products and training services.

This branch has completed more than 1000 project contracts so far, and currently performs about 100 projects a year. Total solutions are offered, from initial idea to the end result.
